Day 039 : Bombay

Today I took a deeper dive into some of the neighborhoods in the Chembur area. The Pani Puri stand in this development sucked me right in. Inside the clusters of dwellings I for some odd reason became intrigued with the gutter systems that were running throughout.

At a certain point I ventured into one of the homes. to see how these people live. As soon as I did so the door started to be filled with lots of curious faces. Inside most of the homes were quite modest and utilitarian. In some cases the homes were one room spaces that provided the means for eating, washing, and sleeping.

When I stepped outside children were lined up to see me for some strange reason. Needless to say it made for a pretty fun photo session...
