This morning I met Bambi bright and early for a bike ride around Beijing. What a wonderful introduction to the city. Bambi was a great guide - She made sure to include all of the crucial landmarks. My favorite part of the journey was riding through the numerous hutongs that snake throughout the city.
When we reached the Moma complex I had a look at SHA's Linked Hybrid Building. It seemed much different in person. Maybe it was the gangs of Chinese men stationed just outside, selling odds and ends that they had collected from their closets. I guess we forget to Photoshop that into our super sleek photo montages...
