This morning I woke up at 3:30am to catch a convey of buses headed straight into the desert. Destination: Abu Simbel. A few images along the way...
Upon returning to Aswan this afternoon I ventured into a Nubian village where I had lunch with a local family. They live in these vaulted mud brick homes. Outside the home it was hot, really hot. Inside the home it was cool, not very cool, but cool enough!
