I arrived in Goreme, Cappadocia this morning after an overnight bus ride from Istanbul. I immediately made my way to my hostel and placed my things in my cave room. Just call me Wilma Flintstone! From there I decided to take a hike through Pigeon Valley to the nearby village of Uchisar. The Cappadocian landscape is breathtaking. I was in awe throughout my entire hike.
Interesting adaptive reuse : Dry riverbed as grazing ground
Uchisar Castle is the highest point in Cappadocia
