Day 188 : El Cañón del Sumidero

This morning we got an early start and began back tracking to the Cañón del Sumidero in Tuxtla Gutiérrez. It tooks us a bit longer to get there than we had anticipated, but once we arrived it was well worth it! We first viewed it from above, then took a boat ride through the canon for a closer view.

Birds and fish aren't the only animals that live in this water!

After our boatride through the canon we started out for our next destination : Palenque. Let's see how far we get tonight.
